Orange French Toast II

(4 servings)

- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup pure orange juice
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- salt
- 8 slices bread or day-old French bread 2 centimeters thick
- confectioner's sugar
Dip bread slices in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides. Brown both sides on hot, pre-heated griddle that has been buttered or sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
Repeat with remaining slices of bread.
Lightly dust toasts with confectioner's sugar and serve.

Good with butter syrup.
It was O.K. but the kids didn't come back for seconds. Next time if I try this Texas Toast bread or the french bread the and not so much OJ.
